Hangar Keeper Liability
A Hangar Keeper Liability policy is normally divided into 3 sections, however most Hangar Keeper claims fall under section 2 and 3, where the Hangar Keeper liability:
Section 2 provides coverage for damage to the aircraft while in the insured's custody for repair.
Section 3 provides coverage for damage to the aircraft and Third Parties, caused by the workshop works after delivery to the customer.
VAC will investigate all circumstances of the claim, assuring the claim is reported to Insurers and confirming what section the claim falls under and separate possible damaged which should be covered by work shop warranty. Review of final cost follows with a final report and VAC recommendation of settlement.
